Q1. What is God's divine purpose in proclaiming his book in its victorious existence until these last days?

A. To proclaim his Son, which is the mystery hidden for long ages past.

“25 Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith— “ (Rom. 16:25-26) (NIV)

Q2. Who is that mystery hidden in the silence of eternity?

A. Christ is the mystery hidden in the silence of eternity.

“26 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Col. 1:26-27) (NIV)

Q3. Since Christ is the mystery hidden in silence OF eternity, hence Christ is there, hidden only so that he is mysterious: Where is the Christ now revealed through the scripture?

A. Before the foundation of the world he was there.

“19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.“ (1 Pet. 1:19-20) (NIV)

“He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” (Col. 1:17) (NIV)

Q4. What verse from the Bible FIRST gAVE a hint about Christ?

A. In Genesis 3:15

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” (NIV)

Q5. Does the scripture say that Christ is the seed?

A. God's promised seed to Abraham.

“The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.” (Gal. 3:16) (NIV)

Q6. When will the "seed" be crushed onto the head of the 'snake' be accomplished?

A. At the coming of Christ. Only an angel of Christ will catch and turn the devil into the pit to be confined for a thousand years.

“1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.” (Rev. 20:1-3) (NIV)

The devil is the brain of the serpent in Eden, therefore he is the head of the serpent. The snake symbolizes the devil's cheating. When the head of deceit has been imprisoned, this means that the system of evil on this earth has been crushed. This will be done by the “seed”, who is Christ, in His coming again and He will confine the devil to the abyss for a thousand years.

Notice, that Christ is the center of Scripture, because from the beginning to the end it reveals of who He is.

Q7. Regarding the mission of Christ on earth, did the Scripture reveal it?

A.  It was revealed as foretold by the scriptures which existed until the last day.

“He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” (Luke 24:44) (NIV)

Q8. Has the coming of Christ Into the world been TOLD in the Old Testament? And how DID it happen?

A. A virgin shall conceive, and bear a son.

“5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; 6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. 7 Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’” (Heb. 10:5-7) (NIV) (Psa. 40:6-8)

Q9. Is the place where the birth of the Son of God became incarnate as the Scripture foretold?

A. In Bethlehem.

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” (Micah 5:2) (NIV)

The fulfillment:

“4 When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: 6 “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’” (Mat. 2:4-6) (NIV)

Q10. Regarding his sacrifice, was this prophesied in the Scripture?

A. Yes, this can be read in Isaiah 53:4-6.

“4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (NIV)

The fulfillment:

“22 “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” 23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Pet. 2:22-24) (NIV)

Q11. Is there anything written about what soldiers will do to his garments?

A. Prophecy:

“They divide my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.” (Psalm 22:18) (NIV)

The fulfillment:

“24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, “They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.” So this is what the soldiers did. 25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.” (Jn. 19:24-25) (NIV)

Q12. Regarding Christ’s death and not remaining in the grave, does the Bible say anything about this?

A. Prophecy:

“because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.” (Psa. 16:10) (NIV)

The fulfillment:

“31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. 32 God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it.“ (Acts 2:31-32) (NIV)

Q13. Was there anything written in the Bible about what Christ spoke of while crucified?

A. Prophecy:

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?…” (Psa. 22:1) (NIV)

The fulfillment:

“And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).” (Mark 15:34) (NIV)

Prophecy:

“They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst. “ (Psa. 69:21) (NIV)

The fulfillment:

“Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”” (Jn. 19:28) (NIV)

Q14. What does the Bible say about the coming of the Lord Jesus?

A. I, Christ, will come back and take you with me.

“1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (Jn. 14:1-3) (NIV)

A. Will come back to life.

“16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thes. 4:16-17) (NIV)

Q16. Will all those who died that are holy before the coming of Christ be resurrected to welcome the Lord?

A. All those who are holy will meet the Lord.

“…But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.” (Dan. 12:1-2) (NIV)

““There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.” (Luke 13:28) (NIV)

“14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”  (Jude 1:14-15) (NIV)

Q17. How will Christ gather those who are worthy of the first resurrection he will carry out in his return?

A. With the help of His angels.

“30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” (Mat. 24:30-31) (NIV)

q18. Where will the Lord Jesus take The saints to meet him at his return?

A. They will reign (with Christ) in this world for a thousand years.

4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.” (Rev. 20:4-5) (NIV)

Q19. What does the Scripture say to those included in the first resurrection?

A. Blessed and holy are the ones who take part in the first resurrection.

“Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:6) (NIV)

“2 In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. 3 Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” (Isa. 2:2-3) (NIV)

Q20. How will the Lord Jesus rule in ONE thousand years?

A. The Lord Jesus will rule with the iron scepter and the fierceness of the wrath of the God Almighty.

“Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.” (Rev. 19:15) (NIV)

Iron scepter. It represents the indefensible reign of Christ against sinners –

"Do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.” (2 Thes. 1:8)(NIV) Those who will gain life upon the second coming. At the beginning of that reign of Christ, who will be King of kings and Lord of lords (Rev 19:16), the beginning of "receiving punishment, which is eternal damnation from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power." (2 Thes 1:9) (NIV)

The wicked at that time are waiting for the formal judgement of the appointed Judge, which is Christ, when He sits on the "White Throne", to judge all of the wicked: from Adam until the day of His return. (Rev. 20:11-13)

Those who know God and obey the gospel of the Lord Jesus will be given power over the nations, who will rule with a rod of iron (iron rod) which is a symbol of the irrevocable reign of the King of kings, Christ Jesus. (Rev 2:26-27)

The fierceness of God's wrath, with this the scripture says:

“Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.” (Rom. 11:22) (NIV)

The goodness of God is His salvation.

“…now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation." (2 Cor 6:2) (NIV) Now - that means until the return of Lord Jesus - the time of God's goodness. There is a time for God's goodness. This is until the gospel is preached to all nations. (Mat 24:14) "Then the end will come". This is the end of opportunity or goodness of God given to man, which signifies the return of Christ, and it is the beginning of the ferocity or cruelty of God,- the reign of Christ over the wicked. Cruelty, because this will be the beginning of God's vengeance upon the wicked for a thousand years of reign of the Lord Jesus by an iron rod. This will show how much God Almighty hates sin and those enslaved to sin.

The prophets have spoken that same day of the wrath of God:

“that the wicked are spared from the day of calamity, that they are delivered from the day of wrath?” (Job 21:30) (NIV)

“That day will be a day of wrath—” (Zeph. 1:15) (NIV)

“Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord’s wrath.” In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth.” (Zeph. 1:18) (NIV)

Q21. Due to the undeniable reign of the King of Kings during that thousand years, what will the nations do?

A. War is to be stopped.

“He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.” (Isa. 2:4) (NIV)

Q22. According to Christ’s scriptural statement, what will be done next after Christ’s reign with his saints in all the earth during the ‘millennium’ (a thousand years)?

A. Satan will be released for some time.

“When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison” (Rev. 20:7) (NIV)

Q23. What will Satan do after he is released?

A. Satan will be released and he will deceive.

“and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.” (Rev. 20:8) (NIV)

Q24. Had the devil been able to deceive the nations from all corners of the earth on that time?

A. The nations were deceived, for it seemed as if only one man attacked to make war on the camp of the saints.

“They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves…”(Rev. 20:9) (NIV)

Q25. Was the last rebellion of the devil and those who worshipped him successful?

A. It failed, for it seemed as if only one man attacked to make war on the camp of the saints.

“…But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.” (ibid)

Q26. Where was Satan thrown into as he is the cause of all the calamities that befall humanity?

A. Thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur.

“And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Rev. 20:10) “…But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.” (ibid)

Q27. According to the prophecy of the Scripture, after the devil is thrown into the lake of  fire and sulfur, what happens next?

A. (a) There will be a big throne of judgment. This is the final and general judgment.

“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.” (Rev. 20:11) (NIV)

i. The one who sits there is the Lord Jesus Christ.

“In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:” (2 Tim 4:1) (NIV)

(b) The loss of earth and heaven.

“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.” (Rev. 20:11) (NIV)

(c) Standing before the white throne of the wicked to be judged.

“And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.” (Rev. 20:12) (NIV)

i. How will the dead rise?

“28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.” (John 5:28-29) (NIV)

(d) As to where the resurrected came from

“The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.” (Rev. 20:13) (NIV)

(e) Death and Hades will be cast into the lake of fire.

“Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.” (Rev. 20:14)(NIV)

i. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever (v.10)

(g) Casting of the condemned

“Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Rev. 20:15) (NIV)

i. Only those who are holy and belong to the first resurrection are written in the book of life. And they are with Christ to judge the world and angels who are wicked. (1 Cor. 6:2-3)

ii. Those who are part of the second resurrection all do evil, so none of them are part of the book of life. It is according to the Lord Jesus in John 5:29.

In the light of the Bible, Christ is the central figure. For the Father loves the Son dearly, “…all things have been created through him and for him.” (Col. 1:16-b) (NIV)

“8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. “(Phil. 2:8-11) (NIV)
