Q1. What is the judgement?

A. Judgment on every act, whether it be good or bad.

“13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. 14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” (Eccle. 12:13-14) (NIV)

Only God has the ability and power to judge, even the hidden things each person does. Therefore, the just judgment comes from God.

Q2. When does God set judgment on man?

A. After people have died once.

“Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,” (Heb. 9:27) (NIV)

Q3. Does this mean that even though man is still in their graves, judgement will begin?

A. No, He will let everyone rise to be judged.

“28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.” (Jn. 5:28-29) (NIV)

Q4. Are there people living who are already under judgment?

A. There are, those who are a part of the household or Church of God.

“For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Pet. 4:17) (NIV); “God’s household” (1 Tim. 3:15) (NIV)

Q5. Why is it that Christ's people who are in the Church of God though still alive are being judged?

A. If they are not bearing fruits, they are cut off.

“1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” (Jn. 15:1-2) (NIV)

The Lord Jesus is with the church on the day he judges the wicked, that is why He judges those who are in God's house today.

“2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!” (1 Cor. 6:2-3) (NIV)

It is important that a Christian knows the lesson of the Lord Jesus who,

“but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Mat. 24:13) (NIV)

And the Apostle Peter said,

“20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.” (2 Pet. 2:20-21) (NIV)

Q6. Upon the coming of the Lord Jesus, what good will come to his servants who stayed faithful until death?

A. They will be the first to rise.

“16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thes. 4:16-17) (NIV)

This is the reward of those who remain in the Lord until death. The first judgment will take place (that is happening now) in the house of God (Church of God) to choose those who are faithful until death. The faithful member of the Church of God is worthy of the first resurrection; which also includes those who are holy at the coming of the Lord, to meet Him and to be with Him forever.

Q7. What kind of body will those who remain faithful to the Lord's service have in welcoming Him?

A. Like a glorious body.

“20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.” (Phillip. 3:20-21) (NIV)

Q8. What is the explanation about the body that replaces our lowly body?

A. A body that is imperishable and immortal.

“50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. “ (1 Cor. 15:50-53) (NIV)

Q9. Where will the Lord Jesus bring his faithful servants, after the first resurrection?

A. They will reign with Him for a thousand years.

“Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.” (Rev. 20:6) (NIV)

“35 But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, 36 and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection.” (Luke 20:35-36) (NIV)

“…those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might” (2 Thes. 1:8-9) (NIV)

The reign of the Lord Jesus will also take place on earth with His saints for a thousand years, from the coming of the Lord Jesus. The punishment for the sinners is that they will be ruled over by the saints. A thousand years they will perceive again to be with their god of the world (2 Cor. 4:4). They do not want Christ and the saints to rule over them, they want the devil that deceived them.

Q10. After the millennial reign of Christ and his saints, by the iron rod against the wicked people on this earth, when Satan is released for a short time, what will happen to those people who are evil?

A. They will be easily deceived by the devil and will join to siege the camp of the holies.

“7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.” (Rev. 20:7-9) (NIV)

Q11. Will Satan's last attempt to succeed with his deceivers, overcome the Son of God?

A. No, for fire will consume them from the heavens.

“They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.” (Rev. 20:9) (NIV)

Q12. What happens next after the final perversion of the devil Satan against God and Christ?

A. The devil was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur.

“And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Rev. 20:10) (NIV)

Take note that the devil will be with his leaders in hell fire.

Q13. What will happen next after the devil and his cohorts are thrown in hell?

A. The white throne of judgment will be established.

“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.” (Rev. 20:11) (NIV)

Q14. Therefore, there is no more land, where will be the dead then?

A. Standing before the throne.

“12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.” (Rev. 20:12-13) (NIV)

Q15. What will happen to death and to Hades at that time of great judgment from the great white throne?

A. Death and Hades will be cast into the lake of fire which is the second death.

“Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.” (Rev. 20:14) (NIV)

As a result, people will not experience death. Therefore, the saints obtained eternal life in glory with God and the Christ. (Rev. 21:3-4); while sinners are in everlasting punishment with the devil, the beast and the false prophet. “10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” (Rev. 20:10) (NIV)

Q16. What was the judgment from the white throne, to those who did not know God and did not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus, that they were not found written in the book of life?

A. They will be thrown in the lake of fire.

“Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” (Rev. 20:15) (NIV)

Q17. What happens next after the general judgment made on the white throne?

A. Emergence of a new heaven and a new earth.

“Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.” (Rev. 21:1) (NIV)

Q18. Where will the Lord Jesus bring His holy ones?

A. In the holy city, the new Jerusalem.

Q19. Whom will the saints meet in the new Jerusalem?

A. God the Father.

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.” (Rev. 21:3) (NIV)

Q20. What glory will the saints enjoy in God's presence?

A. There will be no more death and the former things are gone.

“‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Rev. 21:4) (NIV)

Q21. Will there be any night with God in the new Jerusalem?

A. There will be no more night and daylight.

“There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.” (Rev. 22:5) (NIV)

Q22. Is God the Father the only one in the new Jerusalem that you will see, is not the Lord Jesus there?

A. He is there, in a throne beside God, and his servants would see his face.

“3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.” (Rev. 22:3-4) (NIV)
