Introduction
If He hadn’t stretched out His mighty hand to save the world, it would continue to plunge in eternal damnation. If it wasn’t for God’s love unto men whom he created, no one can obtain salvation. The circumstances of men are the result of sin. The circumstances of men are the result of sin. This is the poison that spreads slowly; like a flood that engulfs all mankind; if it were not for God’s mercy, none could come before Him to obtain eternal life in his prepared kingdom.
But God loved His people, travelers of this world.
“who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (I Tim. 2:4) (NIV)
It is true that God wants all people to know the truth from Him, because only in this way can man attain “Freedom” from the bondage of human tradition, as it were gangrene or poison that spreads in the minds of mankind.
There was a time that Jesus Christ said to the Jews who worship Him:
“31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “ If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (Jn. 8:31-32) (NIV)
The holy Scriptures, known as the Bible, is a book of the Lord God Almighty, heralding His Salvation. From the book of Genesis, which is the first book of the Bible, to the sixty-sixth book: Revelation, declares God's love, long-suffering and his salvation to man.
Throughout human history there are traces of the blessings of the almighty hand of God. As man departs from Him, He is still there and waiting for His people to return to Him. During the hours and days when He saw that his converts needed to be saved, he was there to do the saving. He sent an angel to Moses to deliver His people from slavery in Egypt. Through an angel, God delivered Daniel from the mouth of the lion, and out of the burning fiery furnace, and he sent and called his two servants.
From time to time, God send His prophets to announce His will to His people. And in this last time (Ano Domini: AD) God the Father sent his Only Begotten Son, to be the Spokesman and Savior of the world: all who believe in him and obey his teachings, which is the gospel of salvation . This is what the letter to the Hebrew people of God says:
“1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.” (Heb. 1:1-2) (NIV)
God's salvation, then, is always accompanied by every stage of human history. Only in the third chapter of the first book in the Bible (Genesis) is the fifteenth verse mentioning the promise of the "seed" of the woman, who will crush the head of the "serpent" who deceived Eve. Through that seed God will save those who love and believe in him. (Jude 25)
That seed, which was also promised to Abraham, was none other than Christ, whom God the Father sent in the last days, to be the Savior of the world (Gal. 3:16; I Jn. 4:14). The seed in Genesis is also the seed of Revelation, whose name is "The Word of God" (Rev. 19:13). He preached the good news that is the gospel of salvation. He died to have eternal life, whoever received him as the Messenger of God the Father at the last day, believed and was baptized to gain salvation. He was raised by God on the third day and ascended to the right hand of God to be President of all things in the Church of God. On the day appointed by God the Father, he will also come to take away all those who serve him faithfully until death, as he promised:
“1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (Jn. 14:1-3) (NIV)
The whole sixty-six books of the Bible aims to proclaim one message, the salvation of God. It was this divine and great purpose that led to the preparation of this book for the title of THE SALVATION.
This book has been prepared to help its reader who comes to God in response to His divine calling. The answers are not fabrications or philosophies but direct words inspired by God to give light to the mind of the seeker of truth from heaven. The light of the verses will separate the dark speculation, fiction or myth that has long dominated the mind. Only the word of God can break man's delusions because:
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12) (NIV)
To the household of God, which is the Church of God, this book will serve as a beacon that will continue to illuminate the path of life He is treading to the kingdom of God. Heavenly grace will be enjoyed by every humble reader of this book, for it consists of questions, the answers of which are the words from the book of the Lord, the Bible.
May the questions and answers it contains, be a guide to know God and receive His Son Christ Jesus. We hope to believe and obey His words given by the Father who sent Him. By reading with faith in God, which has made it possible for this book to be in your hands seeking great salvation, you will gain the understanding and wisdom that comes from above.
Please read this book with prayer and ask for wisdom from Him in heaven, to fully understand His will, and to obey it in the name of His Son Christ Jesus, For it is written:
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5) (NIV)
This book contains a simplified teaching of the Bible on topics that lead to salvation. The discussion is easy to understand and clear. Strict adherence to the purpose of the Bible is what the whole book tries to convey.
Many people have lost interest in reading the Bible, and rarely read it, because they say it is very difficult to understand. But this book offers the key and the torch to remove the obstacles and let the reader reach the salvation that God wants to give, through the Holy Spirit, who is the power of God, to bring them many blessings from above, which will lead to eternal life.
This book will quench the thirsty souls, by receiving the water of understanding of God's truth. The word of God is the center of all discussions on every subject under investigation, in order to reach the truth. The word of God is the pure water of truth that sanctifies man because the Lord Jesus says:
“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” (Jn. 17:17) (NIV)
