Q2. Is He a God that should be worshipped?

A. Yes, God the Father should be worshipped.

“23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (Jn. 4:23-24) (NIV)

Q3. How many are God the Father?

A. There is one God the Father.

“one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (Eph. 4:6) (NIV)

Note: God the Father is the Lord and he does not change. (Mal. 3:6) Therefore he is not the God made flesh. He is the God the Father in heaven, whom the Son teaches about, who is the God made flesh. (John 1:1,14) And when the Son of God was in the flesh, he taught that we should worship God the Father in heaven. (Mat. 6:9)

Q4. Who then is the Son of God?

A. The one born of God.

“For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father”? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son”?” (Heb. 1:5) (NIV)

(1) And because God the Father begot Him, he is the Son of God.

“But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;…” (Heb. 1:8) (NIV)

Q5. Is there another Son of God born of the Father?

A. No, for he is the only begotten Son of God. Only one to be God's Son.

“No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.” (Jn. 1:18) (NIV)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (Jn. 3:16) (NIV)

Q6. Why is it that only one God, the Father, Israel knew of? (Isa. 45:21; 64:8)

A. This was declared through the Scriptures of the prophets.

“25 Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith—” (Rom. 16:25-26) (NIV)

NOTE: The Son of God began with God the Father who has no beginning. The Son is directly from the Father God, so the Son is God. Their essence is one type, because the Father's essence is also the essence of the Son, which is said in Colossians 2: 9, "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,” (NIV) Therefore as the Father is God, the Son is also.

Clearly, then, that the same type of God has two conditions: one is the Father God and the other is the Son of God. It was not from philosophy but it came from God the Father, whom the Son of God proclaims to the mankind, written by Apostle John: “For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.” (Jn. 5:26) (NIV)

Therefore, if there is God the Father, there is a Son of God that came from Him. And as the Father lives in his own life, the Son has been granted a life of His own. In that case, then, the Father is not the Son, nor the Son is the Father. Two of them are then separated, one Father and one Son. But there is one kind in their being God, because what the essence of God the Father is also given to the Son of God. And the relationship of God the Father and His Son who is God does not change “…for the Father is greater than I.” (Jn. 14:28) (NIV) And to know this, we can attain eternal life for it says:

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (Jn. 17:3) (NIV)
